M.A.R.O.O.N.S. R.E.A.D.™(Rigorous Learning, Emotional Engagement, Active Involvement, Decisive Conclusions) Methods in reading and becoming a reflective change agent.
The READ method allows students to break down the process of a historical event and figure. The curriculum provided is built around the history of displacment in America. The reflective process of a given change agent generally leads to one reality: I need to know more. The more they know and reflect, the better decisions they make, and the greater sustainable change becomes. Therefore reading is the center of actualizing our projected goals, regardless of circumstances.
